KUNBUS GmbH is a company founded in 2008 in Denkendorf, headquartered in Ostfildern, and specializes in industrial communication, automation and IIoT. The company is the developer of the open-source hardware platform Revolution Pi, a modular, industrial-grade device series based on the Raspberry Pi. The portfolio includes industrial PCs, IIoT gateways, small controllers as well as fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet devices such as the certified KUNBUS Gateway Sercos3. The devices are produced in Germany, among other things with THT assembly of printed circuit boards at the Ostfildern site. With production-oriented engineering, customization services and support, KUNBUS accompanies customers in the networking of machines, systems and plants. Over 1,000,000 communication devices have been shipped; a network of more than 30 international sales partners serves customers worldwide.
