About Kunsthandlung Kessel
Kunsthandlung Kessel is a sole proprietorship in Bonn-Bad Godesberg specialising in custom picture framing. Its range includes more than 700 sample corner profiles in wood, marble and metal, from which frames for paintings, graphics, photographs and objects are assembled. The workshop services include passe-partout production including folding passe-partouts, gilding using traditional gilding techniques with gold leaf, conservation framing and mounting on MDF, cardboard, Kapa, foamboard, Alu-Dibond and Forex. In addition, surfaces are refined with films, and pictures and frames are cleaned, repaired and restored. All framing is carried out to conservation standards with acid-free passe-partouts, tapes and backing boards as well as dust-tight construction. Customers are private individuals and art enthusiasts from Bonn and the surrounding region.

Conservation Quality
Every framed picture leaves the workshop with conservation-grade processing: acid-free passe-partouts, tapes and backing boards as well as dust-tight framing; UV-protective glass is recommended. Conservation-framed works should be inspected and reframed approximately every seven years.
