Certified specialist business with 50 years of craft tradition
Kunstschmiede und Metallbau Neumaier GmbH (KMN) is a certified specialist and master craft business for artisanal metal construction based in Forstern near Munich. In its own workshops, custom metal staircases and escape staircases, railings and balustrades, balconies and terraces, custom-made doors, gates, frames and windows including fire protection, sound insulation and security, canopies made of metal and glass, metal-glass facades, glass pavilions, conservatories as well as atelier windows and interior work are produced. Manufacturing is carried out in steel, bronze, copper and brass in combination with safety glass; in addition, the traditional blacksmith's craft is maintained, among other things for monument preservation and reconstructions. The value chain ranges from CAD-supported planning and project consulting through manufacturing and surface treatment to final assembly from a single source. KMN works for residential and commercial properties based on designs by renowned architecture firms and is the regional partner in the greater Munich area for burckhardt's glide® panoramic glazing. In 2025, the company received the German Metal Construction Award in the special constructions category.
