About us
Kunststoff Birner GmbH was founded in February 1997 by Gerhard Birner in Stein near Pfreimd and specializes in the processing of thermoplastic plastics. The company manufactures highly technical plastic components using the injection molding process and offers small, medium and large series production. Its range of services includes development, design, prototype construction and toolmaking in cooperation with partner companies, as well as assembly into small subassemblies, printing, ultrasonic welding, kitting and packaging. Thermoplastics from PP to PPSU are processed. Production takes place on 15 injection molding machines (12 hydraulic machines from Ferromatik Milacron, Demag and Zhafir Zerres with clamping forces from 500 to 2750 kN, two fully electric machines and one hybrid machine with removal robot). Customers come from medical technology, the dental sector, electronics, the automotive industry, sanitary fittings, household and appliance technology, and the technical sector. Since 2003 the company has been located in a modern production hall in the Am Kalvarienberg 20 industrial estate in Pfreimd, directly on the A93 motorway.
