About KTH
Kunststoff-Technik Helmstedt GmbH (KTH) is a manufacturer of plastic screw caps and accessories founded in 1971 by Gerold F. Keil. Production from polyethylene (PE) takes place on 32 injection moulding machines for caps of various diameters. The portfolio includes screw caps with standard seals made of PE foam, tamper-evident seals (induction/sealing liners), venting, tamper-evident closures (OV) as well as accessories such as taps, pourers, draw-off spouts, protective caps and keys. In-house developments complement the standard products; the development and design departments as well as an in-house toolmaking unit for injection moulds are part of the value chain. The products are exported worldwide and are used, among other things, in the packaging, food and chemical industries. The company has been certified to ISO 9001 since 2003 and has been led by Thomas Keil in the second generation since August 2024.
