About KUNSTSTOFFEXPRESS

KUNSTSTOFFEXPRESS Handel GmbH (KX) is an owner-managed distribution and trading company for thermoplastic polymers, founded in Bielefeld in 1997. The portfolio comprises five business units: Distribution, Trading, Healthcare, Special Compounds and Reprocessed Products. In trading, the company supplies customers worldwide with PP, PS, ABS, PE and PA through a network of more than 40 producers; distribution partnerships exist, among others, with DUCOR Petrochemicals and REPSOL Quimica. In its own compounding operations, special PP compounds with fillers such as talc, microtalc, mica, wollastonite, glass fibre and carbon black are produced with filler contents of up to 72%. In the recycling sector, the company is one of the larger suppliers in Germany, with an average of more than 1,500 tonnes of recompounds from PS, ABS, PP and PE per month. At its Bielefeld site, KX operates a service and logistics centre with more than 5,000 tonnes of storage capacity as well as its own laboratory for ongoing quality assurance.
