About the KRV

The Kunststoffrohrverband e.V. (KRV) is the professional association of the plastic pipe industry, headquartered in Hamm. It represents manufacturers of plastic pipes, fittings and chambers as well as raw material producers from the EU member states. The association does not produce pipes itself, but documents certified compound grades for pressure pipes and fittings of the material types PE 80, PE 100, PE 100-RC and PA-U 12 in the KRV materials list. Certification is carried out by DIN CERTCO Gesellschaft für Konformitätsbewertung mbH; quality assurance is provided through continuous internal and external monitoring. Applications include pressure pipes in general, drinking water, gas, wastewater, industrial pipes, cable protection pipes and heating pipe systems. The KRV is also engaged in positions and publications on energy, hydrogen, water, pipe recycling, the circular economy, buildings and infrastructure.
