About Kunststofftechnik Engel

Kunststofftechnik Engel is a sole proprietorship founded in 1992, based in Königs Wusterhausen near Berlin, supplying industry and trade with custom plastic moulded parts. Manufacturing includes vacuum deep drawing of thermoplastics (sheet format up to 2500 x 1500 mm, starting material thickness up to 10 mm), processing of glass-fibre reinforced plastics (GRP) and RIM injection technology with polyurethanes in high- and low-pressure processes (part weight 50 to 7000 g). Thermoplastics used include ABS, PVC, PP, LDPE, PMMA, PC, PS and PET. The company has its own model, mould and tool making, so no large upfront investment for customer tooling is required; CAD data is not mandatory — sample parts, original models or sketches are sufficient. Specialisation focus is small and medium series of 1 to 1000 pieces, complemented by CNC milling finish and the assembly of modules. Customers are found above all in road and rail vehicle construction (e.g. front skirts, front and cladding parts for buses and trains), in medical technology, in mechanical and plant engineering, as well as in advertising and decoration.
