About us
Since 1992, Kunststofftechnik Wiesmayer GmbH has been producing injection-molded parts and assemblies with a focus on automotive. At its headquarters in Neustadt an der Donau, around 160 employees produce on more than 7,500 sqm of production and warehouse space at two sites, using 45 injection molding machines with clamping forces from 30 to 1,600 tonnes, largely fully automated in three shifts. In addition to conventional injection molding, multi-component technology (2K), MuCell foam injection molding, overmolding of insert parts and back-molding of different materials are employed. An in-house toolmaking department manufactures production and prototype tools up to 1,000 x 1,200 mm, including milling, EDM and 3D printing for prototypes. The range of services covers design and development in Catia V5, Moldflow simulation, finishing such as laminating, assembly into complete assemblies through bonding and welding, as well as the relocation of injection molding tools. More than 80 customers from the automotive and electrical industries are supplied via EDI; the export share is 12%.
