About Kunststoffwerk AG Buchs

Kunststoffwerk AG Buchs is a Swiss manufacturer of non-metallic measuring tools and a specialist in precision injection moulding. Since its founding in the early 1970s, the company has been developing and producing folding rules and metre sticks (LongLife®), analogue and digital callipers (DialMax®, DigiMax®, CaliMax®), special measuring tools, and injection-moulded parts made of plastics and thermoplastic composites at its Buchs site in the canton of St. Gallen. Its manufacturing operations include injection moulding, the development of measuring tools and composite solutions, as well as in-house finishing via pad printing and, on request, digital printing. Raw materials are sourced predominantly from Swiss suppliers; as a manufacturer of non-metallic measuring tools, the company has been replacing metal with plastic solutions for decades. Its customers come from the retail trade, metrology and testing technology, and the promotional products sector; with minimum order quantities of 100 pieces for metre sticks and 50 pieces for callipers, the company serves large corporations as well as small businesses. Kunststoffwerk AG is a company of Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH and a member of PSI and PROMOSWISS.
