About Kuntze Instruments
Kuntze Instruments GmbH is a family-run company based in Meerbusch near Düsseldorf, now in its third generation since 1946, specializing in the development and manufacture of solutions for water analytics. The portfolio includes sensors for measuring disinfectants (free chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone, hydrogen peroxide), pH value, redox potential and conductivity, as well as gas warning systems for monitoring room air for chlorine gas, ozone and chlorine dioxide. All sensor components are manufactured at the production site in Hartha, Saxony, including by professionally trained glassblowers who produce glass membranes and glass shafts. Manufacturing techniques include glass processing, the assembly of measuring electrodes made of gold and platinum, stainless steel measuring cells and sensor housings made of polypropylene. Production is scalable and enables both large-scale series production and individual on-demand fabrication. Fields of application include process and cooling water, wastewater treatment, drinking water monitoring, swimming pools, as well as agriculture and food processing.
