About the Competence Center

The Kur- und Klinikverwaltung Bad Rappenau GmbH is the management holding company of the local spa operations and, since its restructuring in 2002, has operated a competence center for medical rehabilitation and prevention in Bad Rappenau (district of Heilbronn). The center comprises the Salinenklinik (orthopedic rehabilitation, 200 beds), the Rosentrittklinik, the Stimmheilzentrum (phoniatric/ENT rehabilitation, 52 places), the geriatric Sophie-Luisen-Klinik (60 places) and a therapy center. Treatment focuses include rehabilitation after endoprosthetic procedures on the hip, knee, ankle and shoulder, chronic back pain, inpatient occupational accident insurance follow-up treatment (BGSW) and medically-occupationally oriented rehabilitation (MBOR). Services include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, baths department/balneology, basic psychological care, nutritional medicine and naturopathic treatments. Comprehensive quality management according to the QMS-REHA procedure, recognized by the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft für Rehabilitation (BAR), ensures a consistently high level of care. Since 2005, the center has also been engaged in the Aktionsbündnis Patientensicherheit e. V. (Patient Safety Action Alliance).

   Opening of the Schwärzbergklinik (today the Rosentrittklinik) with 249 beds
