Contract Finishing with Tradition Since 1960

Kurt Bals GmbH Vakuum-Metallisierung is a contract finisher for packaging components and industrial parts with the core processes of decorative painting and PVD coating (vacuum metallization) for high-gloss surfaces. The company operates rotary and flat-surface painting lines for mass-produced items, a drum coating system, double-booth painting systems and high-vacuum systems with a daily capacity of up to 250,000 painted parts and a total daily output of up to 500,000 parts in painting and metallization. All suitable materials are finished, including ABS, electroplatable ABS, thermosets, polyolefins (PP, PE), polystyrene, acrylic, polyamide, polycarbonate, polyurethane, rigid PVC, metal, aluminium and glass. Fields of application are above all the cosmetics industry (closures, screw caps, jars), the lamp industry and automotive suppliers for luminaires and LED reflectors, as well as industrial components such as rings and frames. In-house holder/jig construction for geometrically demanding molded parts, color matching to PANTONE, RAL and HKS in the company's own colorimetry lab, as well as fill-content and adhesion tests in the company's own laboratory complement the range of services. Around 95 employees work at the two production areas in Dürrholz-Daufenbach (Rhineland-Palatinate).
