Kurt Kitzing GmbH composes and produces perfume oils as well as natural blends of essential oils. The family business, founded in 1954 in Nördlingen by the perfumer Kurt Kitzing, who came from Leipzig, is now run by the third generation at the Wallerstein site. The range of services covers proprietary creations made to individual customer specifications as well as fragrances oriented towards marketable products. The quality of the natural raw materials is tested using highly specialized analytics; the analytics department is continuously expanded and modernized at the Wallerstein site. In addition, the company prepares safety assessments according to the IFRA Quantitative Risk Assessment and advises customers on product safety as well as German and European regulations and IFRA rules. The products are used in the cosmetic and chemical-technical industries, in the homecare sector, and in candles and room fragrance products.
