About GLAS KÖCHLIN
Kurt Köchlin GmbH is a mid-sized family business based in Bad Säckingen, specialising in glass trading and the manufacture of cut-to-size flat glass and insulating glass products. The company primarily serves the trades – including carpenters, metalworkers and window manufacturers – as well as the construction and architecture sector in southern Germany and Switzerland. In its own production, glass is cut and processed precisely to size: edge processing, drilling, cut-outs, CNC glass processing and production to templates are all part of the service portfolio, as is the manufacture of multi-pane insulating glass, VSG laminated safety glass (float 6–24 mm) and UV bonding. The product range includes float glass, ESG (toughened safety glass), VSG, thermal insulation glass, solar control glass and profile glass. Surface finishing is carried out using sandblasting with gradients, ornaments, silhouettes and logos, as well as painting and custom glass printing. Production is equipped with CNC glass processing machines; orders are digitally traceable from capture to delivery – delivered directly to the workshop or to the construction site.

Float glass
Basic flat glass for cut-to-size cutting and as a base material for VSG and insulating glass.
Toughened safety glass (ESG)
Higher impact and shock resistance for facades, shower enclosures and furniture; standard-compliant marking by surface or edge stamp.
Laminated safety glass (VSG)
Splinter-binding laminated glass, made from float 6–24 mm, among other things with colour films and printing.
Multi-pane insulating glass
Double- or triple-glazed units with inert gas filling and coating for thermal insulation, produced with the RAL quality mark.
Thermal insulation glass
Coated insulating glass for reducing the U-value in windows and facades.
Solar control glass
Reduces summer heat load and increases living comfort.
Profile glass
For large-area facades and roof structures of factory and assembly halls for daylight utilisation.

GLAS KÖCHLIN is certified with the RAL quality mark for multi-pane insulating glass; the insulating glass is tested, inspected and certified annually. Continuous quality control with rework by production staff takes place in production.
