About Printglass
Kurt Mayer Verpackungsglas GmbH, based in Herzogenburg, Austria, refines glass packaging with ceramic paints made from pigmented glass frit. In the kiln, the paints fuse inseparably with the glass surface at around 600 °C and themselves become glass; the printed containers are therefore resistant to mechanical stress, cleaning and refilling. The company has been active in the refinement of glass packaging for around 40 years and serves both single-trip and refillable bottles. In addition to direct screen printing, the company carries out re-sorting with visual inspections, removal of damaged containers, sorting by type and repalletizing, as well as warehouse logistics from storage through picking to loading and transport coordination. Customers come primarily from the food and beverage industry.
