Kuwopa Kastenhofer GmbH is an Austrian wholesaler and full-service provider in the field of gift packaging, greeting cards, napkins, seasonal decoration and party supplies. Founded in Vienna in 1963, the owner-managed family business serves more than 2,000 points-of-sale in Central Europe, supplying specialty retailers, discounters and corporate customers. The product range comprises over 20,000 items; presentation takes place in fixtures, on walls and carousel displays as well as in seasonal and promotional business on wire and cardboard displays on quarter, third or half pallets. An in-house graphics department creates offers and packaging concepts according to customer requirements; product presentation can also take place online. In addition, automatic data integration and scan-accurate quantity planning are offered in the stationery sector. Kuwopa operates around 30,000 square metres of warehouse space in Korneuburg and Moravský Krumlov and employs up to 200 staff; central purchasing in Europe is complemented by an office in Hong Kong. The focus is on sustainable variants such as cellophane-free packaging and tree-free paper alternatives made from grass paper or sugarcane.
