KW Aufzugstechnik GmbH, based in Oberursel (Taunus), develops, designs and manufactures elevator control systems, frequency inverters and electronic components for the elevator industry. The product portfolio includes complete control systems, soft-start devices, brake devices, shaft information systems with sensor technology, emergency power devices of the NSG-16 series as well as fixtures, call buttons, matrix displays, TFT and monochrome LCD displays. Displays and fixtures are manufactured, among other things, with polycarbonate covers; glass is used for glass fixtures. A high proportion of production takes place in-house, enabling short delivery times and a high delivery capability. With the cloud-based platform KWeb, the company offers remote monitoring, encrypted remote access and automated software updates for elevator systems. The quality management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH; consulting, design, development and manufacturing are part of the certified scope. Customers are elevator construction companies in the DACH region; communication and documentation are available in German and English.
