About KWM

KWM Kunststoff-Formteile GmbH is a medium-sized company based in Merklingen (Baden-Württemberg) that has been developing and producing technical plastic parts for over 50 years. The focus is on injection molding, in particular thick-walled, flat and visually demanding parts; solid injection-molded parts with wall thicknesses of up to approx. 30 mm are a specialty. All common thermoplastics are processed with part weights of up to approx. 4,800 g on 21 injection molding machines with clamping forces of 40 to 1,000 tonnes. In addition to conventional plastics, the company increasingly relies on sustainable materials such as biopolymers, liquid wood (lignin), WPC, natural-fiber-reinforced plastics and recyclates (PCR, PIR). The service portfolio includes consulting, product development, design, 3D simulation and FEM analyses, in-house toolmaking, pad printing, milling, bonding as well as subassembly and complete assembly. On around 12,000 m² of production and warehouse space, KWM manufactures in economical lot sizes and supplies customers on a just-in-time basis. Customer industries include the furniture industry, consumer goods, the cleaning trade, medical technology and agricultural technology. Quality management is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001.
