About KWO Dichtungstechnik
KWO Dichtungstechnik GmbH is an owner-managed, internationally active engineering firm headquartered in Schechen near Rosenheim, specializing in the development, manufacture and distribution of products made from expanded PTFE (ePTFE). The product portfolio comprises three main categories: sealing tapes, sealing sheets and sealing rings, complemented by medical products made from ePTFE that are manufactured in a dedicated cleanroom, as well as products for the textile and membrane industry. Production is based on three processes: unidirectional expansion, multidirectional expansion (MultiTex®) and the patented CellFlon® process for microcellular ePTFE. In addition to filled variants such as glass-fiber-filled and fiber-reinforced PTFE, custom-made products and joint product developments with customers are also offered. The products are used, among other things, in the chemical industry, energy and power plant engineering, the food, pharmaceutical and medical sectors, as well as in environmental technology. Distribution partners in more than 50 countries sell the products, which are manufactured exclusively at the Rosenheim site (Made in Germany).

Materials & Processes
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene)
Base material for sealing tapes, sheets and rings with high chemical resistance.
expanded PTFE (ePTFE)
Expanded unidirectionally or multidirectionally, reduces the PTFE-typical flow behavior (creep and cold flow).
microcellular ePTFE (CellFlon®)
Patented process (2007) for producing microcellular structures for sealing products.
Glass-fiber-filled PTFE
Sealing tape modified with fillers for applications in power plant engineering.
Fiber-reinforced PTFE
Fiber-reinforced ePTFE tapes for demanding sealing joints.
ePTFE for medical products
Biologically inert, aging-resistant material, manufactured in our own cleanroom.
