KWV Kabelwerke Villingen GmbH has been developing and producing cables and wires for industry, mechanical engineering, medical and automation technology for over 60 years. Manufacturing takes place entirely in Germany (100% Made in Germany) with in-house production depth in Villingen. The company designs and manufactures custom cables to customer specifications – from material selection through to series production. Fields of application include automation, robotics, sensor technology, measurement and control engineering, drive and motor technology, medical technology, conveying technology as well as studio and multimedia technology. Documented use cases include a highly robust hybrid cable for crash-test sensor technology, a hybrid cable for channel robots (control, actuators and video in a single cable assembly) and a hybrid cable for precise wind tracking in wind turbines. Every batch is tested, inspected and documented for electrical, mechanical and thermal properties.
