About KPA

Kyffhäuser Maschinenfabrik Artern GmbH (KPA) manufactures stainless steel pumps for hygienic and aseptic applications at its site in Artern/Unstrut (Thuringia). The product range is aimed at the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries: in the food sector, media such as ice cream, chocolate, fats and oils, jam, yeast, vinegar, dough, alkalis and pastes are conveyed; in the beverage industry, sugar solutions, beer, wort, wine, sparkling wine and dairy products; in the pharmaceutical field, WFI and PW, infusion and nutrient solutions, cell suspensions, liquid and pasty medications, alcohol, lotions and perfumes. The company is the re-establishment, in 1999 at the historic site, of the traditional Kyffhäuserhütte Artern, whose roots go back to a sheet metal and copper smithy founded by Paul Reuss in 1881. The focus of today's production is the manufacture and assembly of pumps in stainless steel construction, including series with connections according to DIN 11864-2.
