About us

L&A Lasertechnik und Applikationen GmbH, based in Moritzburg near Dresden, is a specialist in laser application technology in the Central German region. Its range of services includes laser welding – also mobile on-site at the customer's premises –, laser deposition welding as well as TIG, MIG and MAG welding. The offering is complemented by laser engraving and laser marking using 2D and 3D processes as well as the joining-based production of micro-welded components and assemblies, from process and product development through prototypes to series production. All metallic materials are processed, including aluminium, highly corrosion-resistant austenitic stainless steels, titanium, platinum, tantalum and precious-metal alloys. Customers include, among others, sensor manufacturers, medical technology companies, mechanical and apparatus engineering as well as tool and mould making, for example in the repair of die-casting moulds. As a sales and service partner of ALPHA LASER GmbH for East Germany, the company also offers consulting, sales and service of laser systems. Based on welding experience in tool and mould making since 1990, numerous customers have been acquired nationwide.
