L&S Oberflächentechnik is an internationally active system provider and integrator for surface technology, application technology, material supply and automation, headquartered in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock. Since its founding in 1985, the company has been developing and designing plants for processing paints, coatings, adhesives and high-viscosity materials – from the pressure cup gun to the fully automatic robot cell. The core product is the in-house developed multi-component plant generation “Merge Vario Plus” for 2-, 3- and 4-component applications at material pressures of 3 to 420 bar. The range of services also includes paint supply systems, gear and screw pumps, high-viscosity material pumps, robot automation, special machine construction, control and switchgear cabinet construction, as well as assembly, service and training. With the company's own Technology Center, wet painting areas, a powder booth, painting robots and various test systems are available for tests, developments and training. Customer industries include automotive, agricultural and construction machinery, rail vehicles, aviation, shipbuilding, furniture and plastics industry; clients include John Deere and Airbus.

No system leaves the pre-assembly hall untested: all components are checked for function and leak-tightness, control elements are powered up and tested for interconnection and signal exchange. Customers can inspect their system in operation under pre-acceptance conditions; since 1994 the company has been certified to ISO 9001.
