About Labom
Labom Mess- und Regeltechnik GmbH develops and produces in Hude (Lower Saxony) industrial measuring instruments for the measurement and monitoring of pressure, temperature and level. The range includes electronic pressure transmitters, mechanical pressure gauges with Bourdon tube and diaphragm elements, diaphragm seals and process adaptations, resistance thermometers (Pt100), gas-actuated thermometers, bimetal systems, thermowells as well as accessories such as the REconnect quick coupling. The instruments are made of stainless steel (including 316L, 1.4404, 1.4435, 1.4571, 1.4462) and special materials such as tantalum, Monel, Hastelloy, nickel and titanium as well as PTFE and PFA; hygienic surfaces are electropolished on request. For pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and food, measuring instruments with EHEDG- and 3A-compliant design and dead-space-free aseptic process connections for CIP/SIP cleaning are manufactured; further industries include chemicals, energy, shipbuilding, petrochemicals and plant engineering. In addition, Labom offers a calibration service with calibration certificates according to EN 10204 3.1 as well as manufacturer-independent maintenance and measuring point verification. The family business, founded in 1968 by Walter Labohm, employs around 190 staff and maintains branches and representations in more than 40 countries.
