About LACROIX Environment
LACROIX's Environment activity provides public and private customers with secure industrial electronics and Industrial IoT solutions for the remote monitoring and remote control of critical infrastructure networks. The product range includes sensors, data loggers, remote terminal units (including SOFREL S4W and SOFREL YDRIX with DNP3 and IEC-60870 protocols), local remote control stations, and centralization and control systems for water networks, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), electricity/gas networks (Smart Grids) and public lighting (Smart Lighting). Since 1981, smart lighting devices have been developed and manufactured in France and Belgium and distributed to more than 35 countries; in total, the products are shipped to more than 45 countries. In 2025, the division generated revenue of 141 million euros, employs around 450 staff in 7 countries, and invests approximately 10% of annual revenue in research and development. In addition, the company offers project engineering, commissioning support, training (certified training center) and a free hotline. Quality and environmental management are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
