About Lactoprot

Lactoprot Deutschland GmbH, headquartered in Kaltenkirchen, is one of the internationally leading manufacturers of caseinates. The company refines milk and whey into casein, caseinates, whey protein concentrates (WPC), milk protein concentrates, lactose, and milk calcium. Core processes include extrusion, drum and spray drying, as well as pre-treatments such as filtration, electrodialysis, hydrolysis, fermentation, evaporation, and agglomeration. Furthermore, in its own blending facility in Lübeck, customized specialty blends and stabilizers are created, including contract manufacturing/co-packing with filling into cans, bags, sachets, and capsules. Products are used, among other things, in dairy and whey products, fine foods, meat, bakery and confectionery, beverages, baby and sports nutrition, as well as ice cream. Around 220 employees work at the four production sites in Germany; sales are carried out worldwide.
