About Läckerli Huus
Läckerli Huus is a Swiss confectionery and baked goods manufacturer based in Frenkendorf in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. The traditional company, founded in Basel in 1904, produces the well-known Basel Läckerli as well as a broad range of chocolate products, pralines, truffles, cream lozenges, caramel candies and wafer rolls. Production follows traditional recipes by the company's own confectioners and chocolatiers; the Basel Läckerli is made from honey, hazelnuts, almonds, candied peel and kirsch, baked flat, coated with a sugar glaze and cut into rectangular pieces while still warm. The offering also includes personalized corporate gifts and gift consignments as well as mail-order sales to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The company employs around 150 staff, plus approximately 60 seasonal workers during the Christmas period, and operates branches throughout Switzerland.
