About LAEIS

LAEIS GmbH, headquartered in Wecker (Luxembourg), was founded in 1860 and is a supplier of high-performance hydraulic presses for the production of refractory products. The product range includes the press series HPF, ALPHA and OMEGA as well as presses for special applications, complemented by press dies, mould filling and powder feeding technology, handling systems and press accessories. In cooperation with partner companies, the company also supplies kilns and dryers, automation, palletizing and packaging systems as well as marking systems, and carries out plant engineering and installation. In addition to the refractory industry, the presses are used, among other things, for the shaping of fine and technical ceramics, salt blocks and tablets, special building materials and carbon products such as anodes for aluminium smelting. The 100%-owned subsidiary ALPHA CERAMICS GmbH in Aachen acts as a technology and test centre and also offers R&D services, small-series and contract manufacturing. LAEIS is part of the SACMI Group.
