About Lässig GmbH
Lässig GmbH is a German family-owned company based in Babenhausen (Hesse), founded in 2006 by Claudia Lässig, Stefan Lässig and Karin Heinrich. Under its core brand LÄSSIG, the company develops and distributes functional, design-oriented products for babies, children, parents and families – ranging from changing bags and changing backpacks to school bags, kids' backpacks and baby textiles, as well as children's tableware, drinking bottles and children's clothing with UV protection. Since 2022, the dog brand PALOPA with beds, mats, bowls and accessories has been part of the company's portfolio. The product range focuses on bio-based, recycled and pollutant-tested materials such as organic cotton, stainless steel and porcelain; many products are vegan. After internal quality controls, the products are additionally tested by independent testing institutes. Distribution takes place via the company's own online shop, a B2B retailer network, specialist retail and international trading partners in more than 50 countries; the company also operates its own LÄSSIG store in Palma de Mallorca.
