Läufer Landmaschinenhandel GbR is a family business in Elzach-Prechtal in the Black Forest, founded in 1998 by Josef Läufer with its own workshop. The company offers maintenance and repair of tractors, chainsaws, lawn mowers and haymaking machinery as well as the restoration of vintage tractors including the overhaul of engines, gearboxes, starters, alternators, braking systems and radiators. Another focus is the overhaul of eccentric screw pumps for industry, agriculture and biogas plants as well as milk centrifuges and butter-making machines for milk processing. In addition, welding work, tyre service, sharpening service for chainsaws, planning of stationary pump systems and the sale of original and wear parts are offered. Customers include forestry and agricultural businesses, hobby gardeners, vintage tractor restorers, cheese makers and biogas plant operators. Since November 2006, the second generation, Alexander and Jürgen Läufer, has been running the business.

History
- 1998
After his time as head of the agricultural machinery workshop of Heinrich Beck KG / Autohaus Elzach (until 1997), Josef Läufer founded the business with its own workshop.

The business was taken over by the sons Alexander and Jürgen Läufer in November.
