About Lahnau Akustik

Lahnau Akustik GmbH is a manufacturer of acoustically effective ceiling and wall systems based in Lahnau (Central Hesse). The company was founded in January 2006 at the site of the former Wilhelmi Werke AG and took over production, patents and naming rights. It manufactures acoustic building materials made of expanded glass granulate (recycled glass), fire-protected chipboard, metal and acoustic foam, including jointless acoustic and cooling systems, ceiling sails, wall absorbers, acoustic louvres and its own substructures. Core competencies lie in acoustics and fire protection according to European standards; for special applications such as sports halls (ball-throw-resistant to DIN 18032-3), indoor shooting ranges (VPAM-certified up to 3500 joules), swimming pools (corrosion protection class C4+C5) and concrete-core-activated buildings, tested complete systems are offered. The portfolio is complemented by on-site consulting, sample presentations, acoustic measurements, training of installer teams and project solutions for individual applications.
