Lahntechnik GmbH, based in Nassau, plans, develops and produces customer-specific cooling solutions with worldwide delivery. The product range includes active and passive coolers for liquid media, workpiece cooling, the Schwakos® process air cooling, applications in commercial refrigeration and medical technology as well as fluid technology systems. In addition, the company implements plant engineering and project engineering of large coolers – from individual projects through small to large series, with around 14,000 cooling solutions per year for more than 30 industries. An example from the automotive industry is the WKT workpiece cooling system, a cooling tunnel that cools brake discs with inlet temperatures of 250 to 350 °C down to 30 to 35 °C in a 10-second cycle. The service area is offered under the LT services brand and ensures system availability, in Germany and Europe with its own team, and beyond that with service partners. Customers include, among others, the Neuwied vocational school, for which a demonstration system for refrigeration training was developed, as well as Siemens Energy, for whose PVA high-vacuum brazing furnaces in Berlin an energy-efficient cooling concept for thermal process stabilization was created.
