Metal technology in the Siegerland since 1950
Laich Metalltechnik GmbH is a metal processing company founded in 1950 in Kreuztal in the Siegerland region, now run in its third generation by Thomas Laich. The company manufactures components and assemblies from steel, stainless steel and aluminium – from bent parts, tubes, folded and formed pieces up to 4,000 mm in length, laser-cut, sheared and sawn parts, through to welded constructions with piece weights of up to 10 tonnes. A key focus is wear protection: armoring and components made from highly wear-resistant materials such as Hardox 400/500, CREUSABRO 4800, XAR and overlay-welded armor plates are also produced for extremely stressed machine parts in single-item and series production. The value chain also includes design with technical drawings and structural calculations, machining on machining centers, surface treatment such as galvanizing and powder coating, as well as on-site assembly. Customers come from mechanical and plant engineering, structural steelwork, recycling plants, construction, forestry and agricultural machinery, as well as mining and open-cast mining. As an ISO 9001 and EN 1090 certified company, it is authorized to deliver load-bearing components throughout Europe with its own CE marking.
