Laiteries Réunies Société coopérative, headquartered in Plan-les-Ouates near Geneva, is a Swiss dairy and meat industry group that emerged in 1911 from the merger of two cooperative milk dairies in Carouge. The group comprises eight subsidiaries in four areas of activity: dairy products, meat products, distribution and logistics. The dairy division (Val d’Arve SA, Nutrifrais SA) produces soft cheese specialities, Gruyère, yoghurt, desserts and cream cheese; the meat division (Del Maître SA, Maître Boucher Sàrl) produces industrially for retail and the food industry. Through the distribution companies Vivadis SA, W. Ottiger AG and Chäs Max GmbH, the company supplies gastronomy and retail, while LRG Logistics SA handles refrigerated transport. The cooperative counts around 316 employees, 542 cooperative members and 81 milk producers, who deliver around 36 million litres of milk annually.
