About Lakeside Innovation / Grill Control

Lakeside Innovation GmbH, based in Radolfzell, develops and sells the Grill Control Device, a smart temperature control system for gas grills. Using the device and the accompanying Grill Control app (iOS/Android), ordinary premium gas grills can be connected, monitored and automatically regulated via Bluetooth. The system is adapted to grill model series from Broil King, Napoleon, Weber, Grillfürst, Rösle and OutdoorChef via compatible handle adapters. The offering includes a starter kit as well as accessories such as a probe thermometer and USB power adapter. Founder and managing director Klaus Asshauer developed the invention; the company communicates through its own podcast BBQ TALK with Klaus & Nik. Product approval for Canada and the USA has been applied for or is in preparation.
