LAMIPRESS® – Fotoverbundglas Marl GmbH develops and distributes the patented VSG laminator LAMIPRESS®, a system for producing laminated safety glass using a patented autoclave overpressure process. With it, laminates with PVB film and SentryGlas (SGP) can be produced without pre-lamination, without a pressure vessel and without vacuum bags, with lamination times from 45 minutes and a reject rate of under 1%. The systems are individually designed for throughputs of 50 to 800 m² per day and require only 3–4 employees per shift; energy consumption is below 10 kWh per m². A modular system with the LamiStore and LamiDoublePress modules allows subsequent capacity expansion, and the LAMIPRESS® can also be combined with an existing autoclave. Customers are glass finishers, flat glass producers and specialty glass manufacturers; the headquarters is located in Marl.
