Lammhults Biblioteksdesign A/S, headquartered in Holsted, Denmark, has been designing and manufacturing interior solutions for libraries since 1929. The company develops shelving systems (including 60/30 Classic and Lingo), search stations, counters, seating furniture, book displays and special/custom furniture, and delivers complete library fit-outs from the initial idea through to assembly. Production is predominantly from FSC-certified wood, MDF, veneered and melamine-coated chipboard as well as steel; recycled textiles are used for room-acoustic elements. Its service portfolio includes space planning, 2D/3D design planning, capacity planning of collections, project management and installation, as well as the workshop sale via the webshop Eurobib Direct. As part of the Lammhults Design Group, the company is represented by seven subsidiaries in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Norway, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom, serving public, academic, school and corporate libraries in Europe and beyond.
