About LaModula
LaModula GmbH, headquartered in Villach (Carinthia), develops and sells bedroom furniture, sleep systems and bedding made from natural materials. The metal-free stone pine beds and solid wood furniture made of Alpine stone pine as well as oak, wild oak, ash, beech and chestnut are crafted by hand in traditional craftsmanship according to in-house designs by partner companies in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovenia. Stone pine surfaces are hand-sanded and left untreated; other wood species receive a natural oil finish. Mattresses made of natural latex and cold foam are produced CO2-neutrally in an Austrian manufactory, sleep systems and bedding in Germany. The Alpine stone pine wood is sourced from Carinthian timber merchants, all of whom are PEFC-certified. The products are personally advised and sold in six showrooms – five in Austria (Villach, Vienna, Kalsdorf near Graz, Salzburg, Dornbirn) and one in Munich.
