About LVermGeo SH

The Landesamt für Vermessung und Geoinformation Schleswig-Holstein (LVermGeo SH) is a supreme state authority (public institution of the state of Schleswig-Holstein) headquartered in Kiel. It was established in 2011 from the State Survey Office and the cadastre offices of the state and employs around 550 staff. Its core tasks are national surveying as well as the establishment, maintenance and renewal of the real estate cadastre. The authority also operates the geodata infrastructure of Schleswig-Holstein (GDI-SH), the satellite positioning service SAPOS, the DigitalerAtlasNord, the geoserver and the Schleswig-Holstein metadata information system. In addition to its headquarters in Kiel, LVermGeo SH maintains real estate cadastre departments in Lübeck, Flensburg, Husum and Elmshorn as well as in Kiel (Kronshagener Weg). The authority also trains geomaticians, surveying technicians and IT specialists.
