Landig + Lava GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1982 by Manfred Landig as a certified master business for electrical, refrigeration and climate technology and has developed into a provider in the fields of game cooling, game meat hygiene and processing, and vacuum packaging. The family-owned company develops and produces cooling and processing equipment in Germany, including game refrigerators, walk-in game cooling chambers, refrigeration units and cold room doors, DRY AGER brand maturing cabinets for dry aging, rail system installations and stainless steel hanging systems, as well as meat processing machines such as meat grinders, sausage fillers and bowl cutters. The LAVA brand covers vacuum packaging. The products are manufactured under strict guidelines; every unit undergoes a 100% inspection and functional check before delivery. The company is represented by a sales and service network in more than 30 countries and operates a service network in Germany with over 220 service points. It is headquartered in Bad Saulgau in Upper Swabia; since December 2019 a modern office building with adjacent production, logistics space and showroom has been in use there.
