Landshuter Lackfabrik Eduard Leiss GmbH, located at Dieselstraße 7 in Landshut, was founded in 1958 by a nephew of Johann Baptist Mittermayer. The company developed into a manufacturer of industrial coatings, paints and chemical raw materials and produces custom solutions for industrial applications. Under the ROSNER brand, the company manufactures wood coatings. The company supplies customers predominantly within Europe and has many years of experience in the export business. On 01.12.2018, Landshuter Lackfabrik was acquired by MIPA SE and continued as an independent company; on 01.01.2021, Landshuter Lackfabrik GmbH merged with MIPA SE. As a result, the historically separate paths of the two Landshut coating manufacturers, both of which trace back to Johann Baptist Mittermayer, were reunited.
