Laser systems for packaging, paper and security technology

LANG LASER-System GmbH is a provider of industrial laser material processing based in Ummendorf in Upper Swabia. For over 25 years, the company has been developing and producing customized laser systems for scoring, perforating, cutting and structuring non-metallic materials such as plastic films, composite films, paper, carton and textiles. The product portfolio includes laser systems for flexible packaging (FlexLas line), winders with integrated laser systems, systems for folding cartons, sub-systems and inspection systems for process monitoring. The systems can be integrated into existing slitter rewinders, winders, laminating and bag-making machines. Main markets are the packaging, carton and paper industries, the pharmaceutical and medical, beverage and food industries as well as security technology, where systems are used for the personalization of passports and security documents. State printing houses in 34 countries work with the company's systems; production and deployment take place in more than 30 countries. The company has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 2006, and in 2015 it was awarded the Top 100 seal as an innovative SME. Since 2020, the subsidiary LANG LASER Inc. in New York has been serving customers in the USA and Canada.
