About Lang-Stereotest AG
Lang-Stereotest AG, based in Küsnacht near Zurich, develops and markets orthoptic test products for binocular diagnostics. The core product is the glasses-free random-dot stereotest invented in 1980 by the Swiss ophthalmologist Prof. Dr. med. Joseph Lang, which combines random-dot stereograms with a cylindrical-lenticular (lenticular/cylindrical raster) film. The product range includes the revised versions LANG-STEREOTEST® I-R (2021) and II-R (2023), the modular LANG-STEREOPAD® with magnetic test cards on a test plate with a PVC surface and stainless steel core, as well as fixation cubes and fixation sticks. The products are Class I medical devices under the MDR (Regulation EU 2017/745) and UKCA and are used by ophthalmologists, paediatricians, orthoptists, optometrists, school doctors and public health authorities, among other things in preventive screening examinations and occupational fitness tests. The products are manufactured in Switzerland and distributed worldwide via distributors; the family business is run by the third generation.
