About Lange Kunststofftechnik GmbH
Lange Kunststofftechnik GmbH manufactures injection-molded parts and compression-molded parts to customer specifications at its traditional Kaltenkirchen site. On 1,500 square meters of production space, injection molding machines process all types of thermoplastics with molded part weights up to 1,000 grams, including polycarbonate, PA 6 and polyethylene. Synthetic resin presses and GRP compression presses with clamping forces up to 1,500 kN complement production with thermosets, bulk molding compound and phenol-formaldehyde resin. The service portfolio covers complete toolmaking from planning and design through manufacturing and testing to overhaul and long-term tool storage. Further services include injection molding with metal or glass inserts, rapid prototyping, precision drilling, laser marking, screen and pad printing, as well as assembly of multi-part components including packaging and shipping. The parts are used, among other things, in the electrical industry, mechanical engineering, the aviation industry as well as in sports and leisure boat building.

Materials and Processes
Thermoplastics (various)
Processed on the injection molding machines with part weights up to 1,000 g.
Polycarbonate
Used, among other things, for injection-molded parts for the electrical industry and housings with glass inserts.
Polyamide 6
Used, for example, for airbrush spray gun parts and assembly components.
Polyethylene
Material for manufactured rosettes.
Thermoplastic elastomers
Used for components such as a suction lifter with a lifting capacity up to 80 kg.
Cast polyamide (PA 6)
Material for multi-part assembly components.
Thermosets
Compression-molded into robust molded parts on synthetic resin presses.
Bulk Molding Compound (BMC)
Molded parts made of BMC, e.g. complex moldings with drill holes for the aviation industry.
Phenol-formaldehyde resin
Material for molded pieces such as roller bodies with internal threads.
Glass-fiber-reinforced plastic (GRP)
Particularly robust plastic parts manufactured on GRP compression presses.
Inserts made of glass and metal
Injection molding with inserts, e.g. threaded bushings or glass inserts in polycarbonate parts.
Rapid Prototyping
In-house process for fast samples and small series.
