LW Fertigungstechnik (Lankes & Wildbihler GbR) is a young, modern contract CNC machining company based in Rosenheim. Its service offering includes CNC milling using 3-axis and 5-axis processes, from miniature parts to components with dimensions of 1000 × 500 × 400 mm. The standard materials machined are aluminium, steel and plastics. The machine park comprises two DMG CMX 50U 5-axis machining centres, a Mikron HSM 400U 5-axis machining centre with a pallet changer, and several 3-axis centres (MtCut V110H, MtCut V60D, Pinnacle VMC 1100S). The process chain includes CAD/CAM workstations with Solidworks/Solidcam, an optical tool presetting device, and a CNC-controlled video measuring microscope for inspection.
