About us
LANTENHAMMER GmbH was founded in 1988 by Albert Lantenhammer as a family business and is today an internationally active service provider for industrial assembly, machine transport, plant relocations and project logistics. Its core business comprises the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical disassembly, reassembly and new assembly of machines and systems of any unit weight, oversized and heavy-goods transports as well as complete plant moves including packaging to HPE guidelines and commissioning. A particular focus lies on die casting service: new assembly, relocations, retrofits, overhauls and maintenance of die casting machines. The company maintains locations in Geretsried-Gelting (Bavaria) and Chemnitz (formerly KRT GmbH, acquired in 2024) and, as "Schwer-Kraft", is part of the W&K Group with around 1605 employees worldwide. Customers include, among others, Airbus, MAN, ABB, Bühler, Caterpillar and KWS.
