Who we are
The Lantzerath-Group is an independent, medium-sized family business with German roots, headquartered in Switzerland (Rothenburg/Lucerne). Founded in 1971 as an electrical engineering company in Cologne, the group today employs around 1,000 people at approximately 20 locations in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France and the USA. Its core business is the turnkey construction of filling stations as planner, consultant, implementer and general contractor, complemented by property management as well as maintenance and servicing of filling station equipment from the fuel dispenser to the coffee machine. Beyond the filling station, the group also builds and maintains industrial plants and large electrical equipment, such as pump systems, refrigeration and air-conditioning technology as well as systems for supermarkets and wind farms. With the BiCA AG, acquired in 1997 (roots dating back to 1962, inventor of the fuel dispensing terminal), the group manufactures its own hardware and has been developing the cloud-based POS and merchandise management system CiRRUS since 2001, which is in use at over 3,000 payment terminals.
