About Lapp Mobility
Lapp Mobility GmbH is a company of the Lapp Group and specializes in the development and production of solutions for electromobility. The portfolio includes AC charging solutions such as Mode 3 charging cables (Type 2) for charging stations and wallboxes, Mode 2 charging solutions for charging at household and industrial sockets, as well as DC charging solutions. In addition, the company offers complete solutions for the entire cabling of AC and DC charging infrastructures – from external supply lines to internal cabling and wiring through to cable glands. For special applications, high-voltage cables for electric commercial vehicles and charging solutions for construction sites and mining are developed; work is underway on an MCS charging cable (Megawatt Charging System, up to 3.75 MW). Production takes place at two sites in Stuttgart (Low Volume – High Mix) and Otrokovice in the Czech Republic (High Volume – Low Mix), from which all major automotive manufacturers are supplied. Solutions for the automotive industry are tested in the in-house test laboratory according to IATF 16949.
