About LARAG
LARAG AG is a Swiss company founded in 1950 with headquarters in Wil (SG) and around 550 employees, including 110 apprentices. Originally established as Lastwagen-Reparatur AG (LARAG) with a core business of repairs and overhauls of trucks of all kinds, the offering today includes sales, workshop and service for trucks, transporters, vans, buses and coaches – among other things as the official brand representative of Mercedes-Benz and FUSO as well as a service point of FIAT Professional. In its own machinery division in Wil, metal and plastic parts are newly manufactured, machined and overhauled: CNC turning, CNC milling, CNC drilling, conventional turning/milling/drilling, surface and cylindrical grinding, honing, balancing, metal spraying and laser marking, supplemented by assembly of assemblies, prototype construction and contract manufacturing of small and large series. Further specialist departments include the Diesel Center (testing of injection pumps and filter cleaning), Body & Accident, tank control EGI testing according to RID/ADR, a testing center for road safety and environmental emissions as well as tire, refrigeration unit and RSP suction excavator service. The company operates eight locations in German- and French-speaking Switzerland.

Quality & Testing
In its own testing center in Wil, vehicles are tested for road safety and environmental emissions; the Diesel Center tests injection pumps and injectors, and the machinery division performs static and dynamic balancing. The Geneva and Monthey locations are approved for tank inspections according to RID/ADR.
